Mens Gold Ring with Knife Edge

A 18ct gold wedding ring with a knife edge profile. Two angled planes meet at a fine ridge that runs around the centre of the band. The outside has a soft brushed finish, so the ridge shows as a quiet line of light rather than a hard edge. Inside, the ring is smooth, curved and highly polished: a comfort-fit profile that slides on easily and sits comfortably for everyday wear.

Shown here as a men’s wedding band, the design works just as well as a unisex ring. The ridge gives it a structured, architectural shape without adding bulk. It can be made in a range of widths, from a bold, wide band to a finer ring that sits alongside an engagement ring. Handmade in 18ct gold in our East London studio.

Is a knife edge ring comfortable to wear?
Yes. The ridge is only on the outside. Inside, the band is rounded and polished, so on the finger it feels like a standard comfort-fit ring.

Will the brushed finish change over time?
It will soften gradually with wear and pick up a gentle sheen where it’s touched most. If you want the original finish back, it can be re-brushed in the studio.
